OpenOffice and DocumentsToGo Interop

OpenOffice is the Open Source office document suite popular in the Linux community that works fine (for me, anyway) on Windows. OpenOffice supports both its native document formats and the Microsoft Office document formats. DocumentsToGo is a PalmOS office document suite whose main purpose is Microsoft Office interop.

In my limited testing, OpenOffice generates DocumentsToGo-compatible Microsoft Office files – a Good Thing, as I did not want to have to pay for Microsoft Office when I am happy with OpenOffice. And that is that. (YMMV, this may void your warranty, etc.)
